Employing over 300 people and based in Nailsea, they look after the customer journey for a leading utilities company. This includes everything from meter reading, billing and customer services. The contact centre is the heart of the business and often the first point of contact for customers. They pride themselves on delivering a first-class service where you would be responsible for responding to a range in-bound enquiries via phone, on-line chat and email. Typical queries from customers could include questions about their bills, a house move, change of occupancy details or questions about how to pay. They may also be interested in hearing about the range of outstanding schemes where you will go out of our way to support vulnerable customers.
You will be working on a rolling shift pattern between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday and one Saturday in four 8am to 2pm.

You must have experience of working a customer services role (whether face to face or over the phone) and can display confident and professional communication skills. You will be a natural rapport builder, are passionate about delivering a great customer service and have a positive attitude.
As you’ll sometimes be assisting vulnerable customers, negotiating payments and solving complex problems you will have great attention to detail and take pride in your work. In addition, we are looking for people who can demonstrate a flexible, hardworking approach to their job.

This is day work, Monday to Friday working approximately 40hrs a week – there might be an opportunity for overtime on Saturday morning during busy periods.

We are looking for candidates who would like to be considered for a temp to perm position, this would mean that you would work 12 weeks for us and then become a permanent employee after this period.
There are various shifts on offer, the hourly rate for day shifts is a very competitive at £8.45 rising to £9.45 for night shifts.
Ideally we are looking for candidates who have previous warehouse experience, however candidates with a solid work history from other background would also be encouraged to apply.
