We are looking for a service consultant to join our team at GBRS, this is a service/resourcer role where you will be paramount in the assisting of growing existing business.
Working alongside the Senior Account Manager you will support them in the day to day of filling temporary vacancies, this is not for the faint hearted and if you are not a patient people person then this position isn’t for you. You will need to be comfortable talking to people from all walks of life and treat them all with the same respect. We enjoy talking to and meeting our candidates in person and go the extra mile ensuring that they are put forward for the right jobs.
The role will involve seeking suitable candidates for a variety of roles covering industrial/warehouse, office and commercial, and driving sectors. We have a variety of tools that makes this job as easier including having access to several job boards and CV data bases.
There will be a large amount of telephone work involved as GBRS recruit across the UK so not all of our candidates will be based in the Weston area so setting up appointments for people to be registered in other parts of the country will be a daily task.
Registering candidates face to face in our offices is also part of the role, following the registration process from registration to interview to first payment and making sure that we have all the correct right to work and documentation is key, full training will be given.
You will need first class administration skills as you will be liaising with candidates on the phone and by email, a good standard of spoken and written English will be essential.
You should have previous experience in either a recruitment or HR role, we would also consider applications from people who have worked previously in a customer services environment.
This is a permanent position working from our lovely offices in Worle, the offices are close to a railway station and literally just off the M5 motorway, we have free parking literally just outside the door.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Furniture Build Technician. Their Technicians work based from home throughout the UK and are supplied with their own vehicle and uniforms and all tools and training required to fulfill the role.
Core hours are 40 per week with regular overtime available. Mostly worked Monday – Friday but must be flexible to work weekends as required. Core working hours fall between 6am – 8pm. You will be given a company vehicle therefore you must be able to drive and have a valid driving licence.
The current locations we are looking to recruit within are:
Weston / Bristol / South West (close reach of the M5) but you will be required to work across the UK at times
CSCS card holder preferred but we can put you through this
Experience of working in both commercial and domestic settings
The applicant understanding there will be overnight work and day work, also staying away will be a normal part of the job, hours are erratic, it’s not a Monday to Friday 9-5 role although notice of future works will be given.
To work as either part of a Furniture Build Team or, as required, manage a Furniture Build Team, assembling flat pack furniture – both in commercial premises or customer homes, assembling various Lighting Products on a Lighting Gantry within commercial premises, fitting white goods in new homes on building sites also decorating retail shops within their display room sets. Carrying out porter services within commercial premises, also cleaning retail and commercial premises using specialised commercial cleaning equipment, liaising with Clients / Store Managers and managing agency workers as and when required.

Starts Monday Monday 10th July – Site hours 7am – 7pm
All work will be internal and include door hanging, skirtings and architraves etc.

GBRS are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer on behalf of their client a leading remediation company based in North Somerset
This is a permanent position based out their offices
interpretation of historical site investigation data
a good understanding of specific remediation technologies including bioremediation, in-situ process based systems, soil classification, water treatment and soil stabilisation; environmental monitoring; site investigation (trial pitting, logging, drilling, etc); collation of verification data including the use of GIS and good site based experience.
Knowledge in geotechnical classification and verification would be a distinct advantage.

gbrs are looking for 4 reach truck drivers to start a full time position in the Nursling area of Southampton.
This is a permanent position for the right driver, must have a valid reach ticket, ( not an in house tickets )
The rate is £9.14ph on days and £10.14ph on nights, this is paid weekly to you, you must have previous experience on the truck working in a warehouse environment.
You would work through gbrs for 12 weeks then you would be made a permanent member of staff after this period, the weekly hours are 37 – 40 hours a week and you would be required to work some weekends on a rota basis.
