Our client is a growing online business that manufactures a large range of soft furnishings from its own premises a rural industrial estate in Somerset, The Company has grown significantly over the past 5 years and is now looking to employ an experienced book-keeper/accountant to support with all the day-to-day finance duties.
This role will cover a broad remit, encompassing all transactional, financial and management account production.
This role requires you to be self motivated, well organised and accurate.
Responsibilities and Duties
Updating and administering the sage and /QuickBooks accounts systems
Managing all Sales and Purchase ledger activity
Preparation of quarterly VAT Returns
Weekly bank reconciliation
Provision of Management Information
Weekly and Monthly payroll/PAYE/pension scheme.
Companies House/HMRC Filing
Other adhoc finance/administrative duties
Qualifications and Skills
Must have several years experience working within a finance role book keeping and accounts.
Experience of sage is essential
Self-starter who is able to work on their own initiative
This is a part time vacancy two days a week, hours flexible. This is a temp to perm vacancy.
