Stock Controller/Administrator – Weston-super-Mare
Contract type: Permanent Rate: £23,400p/aGBRS are currently looking for a Stock Controller/Administrator, to work with our client in Weston–super–Mare.
As the Stock Controller, you will be providing an administration function to the technicians, ensuring accurate information is available when required and parts/spares are ordered without delay for fitting technicians. Main duties will include:
- Know and understand all products classed as “Van Stock Consumables”
- Order and maintain stock levels, keeping catalogues/spreadsheets updated for all products and suppliers
- Source and negotiate prices for new products, to add to catalogues/spreadsheets when requested
- Raise Purchase Orders for stock with suppliers for direct delivery to technicians
- Record and update all purchases of stock on a Spend Sheet on a weekly basis and manage all credit accounts held with suppliers
- Monitor all deliveries, to ensure delivery within agreed timescales and confirm receipts of all goods for invoice purposes
- Deal with all invoice approvals/queries relating to stock and non-supply
- Deal with all loss/damage/faults regarding technicians stock
